I did not like the lack of hands-on activities we did in the first semester. The curriculum in the first semester was neccesary, but we only did paperwork or metaphorical activities. I would have liked more activities on the computer.
As I have stated before, I would like the class to have had more hands-on activities during the first semester. I feel like if we had more hands-on activities in the first semester, I would have enjoyed the class more and I would have been more prepared for the curriculum in the second semester.
There were many interesting and/or enjoyable times in this class, but there is one highlight for me. The highlight of this class for me was when I finally finished my Create PT Project. I had spent so much time and energy on the project that I almost gave up. The only thing that kept me going was the fact that I knew I could finish it. I knew it wasn't difficult, it was just time-consuming. I wanted to finish it, I wanted the achievement. I am very proud of the project.
I did really do my best in this class. This class wasn't necessarily hard, but it wasn't easy either. I was challenged enough to focus and to apply myself, but I wasn't too stressed out to the point of giving up.
I try my very best to read my Life Planning Goals Journal whenever we can. It is very stressful during the final days of High School, along with my sudden fever and throat infection, but I try to remind myself of the goals I have of the future.
I am definitely committed to being a CTR and an Areté person. I feel like to not be committed to be these things is to deny yourself success and happiness. Essentially, being a CTR or and Areté person is more than good morals or whatever; being a CTR or Areté person means that you believe you can be a good person, and it means you believe you can be successful. It means you are actively believing in yourself, and to resist these idealogies is to resist self-success.
